I have 24 years of experience as an IT Professional. Combined with my Instructional Design & Technology experience, I believe my unique skill set will allow me to add value to any organization. My career goals are to create exceptional online learning that engages and motivates adult learners in the post-secondary, non-profit, or corporate environment!
My life experience makes me an excellent problem-solver and communicator. I am a life-long learner currently focused on learning gamification. I am a graduate of Walden University with a M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology, specializing in Online Learning. I have spent the majority of my career in the non-profit sector, including state government, non-profit entities, tribal, and higher education. I have 24 years of experience in the Information Technology field. My instructional design skills include content management, content development, multimedia design, graphics, project management, evaluations, assessments, Adobe Captivate and other skills. My IT skills include network administration, programmer analyst, SQL database administration & development, web programming and development, user training, and computer forensics. I developed my management and organizational skills as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves.
